Bruno Lafon, President of USSE, at the "La foret européenne, entre passé et future conference" in Paris

The meeting “La foret européenne, entre passé et future” (“The European forest, between past and future”) held recently at the Fondation Singer-Polignac in Paris, was attended by USSE President Bruno Lafon, who gave a lecture entitled “Western Europe = A forest planted after centuries of agropastoralism”.
The presentations of this meeting addressed interesting topics, with mentions of industrial innovation and wood in the Paris Olympic Games, the danger and management of storms, droughts and fires, carbon or parasites in forests or the point of view of the forest management community.
